Bible Reading Plan

M'Cheyne Reading Plan

This amazing Bible reading plan has been a Christian favorite for nearly 200 years! It keeps you reading in four separate places at once. The diversity makes the more difficult books like Leviticus and Numbers less cumbersome because you are rotating in other more accessible places like the gospels and epistles. So for the first day, you read these chapters: Genesis 1, Matthew 1, Ezra 1, and Acts 1.

The plan has a calendar with it, and the calendar will carry you through the entire Bible once and the New Testament twice in one year! It has you reading four chapters each day, which will probably take about 15-20 minutes. So with just 15 minutes a day you can read the Bible in just a year!

If that's too much for you, then just commit to reading one or two chapters a day. In that case, just ignore the calendar days. Go at your own pace and mark off a chapter or two as you go. With two chapters a day, you can read the entire Bible in two years. Still an impressive feat!

I recommend printing off the plan and marking off chapters or days as you go. That way, if you want to go at a slower pace (or you miss a day), you can pick up right where you left off regardless of what the calendar says. I hope this plan blesses you and allows you to grow your love for God's Word!
