Missions

Our Conviction

In Matthew 28:18-20, before His ascension, our resurrected Lord made known three things to His disciples: His complete authority over all things, His mission for the church, and the promise of His presence. The mission given to the church is backed by the efficacious work of Christ on the cross. He was slain and purchased for God with His blood people from every tribe and tongue and people and nation (Rev. 5:9). As a church, we participate in the Great Commission by going to make disciples where we currently are, by going to make disciples where God sends us, and by supporting those who go to make disciples (Mark 5:19; Luke 10:1-23; Phil 4:18).

When it comes to the Great Commission, we want to focus on three things: church planting, Bible translations, and indigenous pastoral training. We believe that these three efforts will, by God’s grace, result in lasting and enduring fruit for the glory of Christ, and the good of people.
